Terms of Service
1. Nature of the service
diffpoint is offered as software in private beta. Features may change, and the service may be updated or interrupted for maintenance without notice.
2. Ownership of your information
You keep every right, title and interest in the data you upload. diffpoint acquires no ownership of it and no licence over it beyond what is needed to run the comparison you asked for.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for having the right to upload the files you upload, and for their content complying with the data protection law that applies to you.
4. Plans and payment
The Free plan is available with registration. Paid plans are not open yet: payment is disabled across the service, no charge can be made, and the prices published on the pricing page are what we intend to charge when it opens, not an offer that binds either side today. When paid plans open, these terms will say how billing, renewal and cancellation work before any card is charged.
5. Disclaimer
diffpoint reports the differences it finds between two files by computation. It is a check, not an audit opinion, and it should not be the only control over a financial report. The service is provided "as is", without a guarantee of absolute accuracy.
6. Termination
We may change beta features, and we may suspend an account that abuses system resources. You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time.
